Wall clock made from Austrian maple wood.The relatively calm grain gives this wall clock a rather "calming" effect, and its warm coloring still brings a loving atmosphere to your home.
Maple trees are common - for example, you can often find Norway maples in avenues, various Japanese maples in gardens or the visually very attractive blood maple. The field maple is also often planted on roadsides or as hedges - although the sycamore maple can also be found in local forests.
There is hardly anyone who has NOT heard of maple seeds when they spin from the tree in autumn.
Maple wood is used almost exclusively indoors for furniture, floors or string instruments - but it is also excellent for turning.
This clock is a unique, handmade piece, made in Austria. The wood comes from a
Styrian sycamore maple.
